Marcel Theunis started making wooden doors and frames in 1962. Steel frames were added in 2004 thanks to the acquisition of Polynorm in the Netherlands. Today, Theuma is a healthy family business with an annual turnover of more than €50 million, and it is one of the largest suppliers of doors and frames in Europe.

Teamwork and entrepreneurship

How did we achieve this success? Thanks to a passion for the profession, expertise, and the continuous efforts of our 320 employees of course. Together we have delivered millions of door sets for various applications.

We produce our doors and frames in 2 factories in 2 countries: the door factory is in Bekkevoort, Belgium, and the window frame factory (formerly Polynorm Bruynzeel) is in Nijkerk, the Netherlands.

Quality and professionalism

Our objective? To be the reference for total internal door systems solutions. Focused on effectiveness, functionality and sustainability, we strive for the optimal balance of business processes. To achieve this, we continually invest in our products, services and systems. In concrete terms, this means we are allowed to hold the ISO 9001 quality label.

We do what we say and always set the bar high, including in terms of our ethical and social responsibilities. Our involvement and sense of responsibility are, therefore, large. After all, customers, employees and stakeholders count on our knowledge and experience. This is corporate social responsibility.

Advice and expertise

There are many rules and regulations that apply to the production and use of doors and frames. Of course, you must take the aesthetics and your budget into account. At the same time, however, you must comply with all requirements in terms of fire/smoke/burglary/noise resistance.

As a specialist in interior door systems, we are happy to assist you. Our advice will come in handy. Making the right choice is not always easy. We can work together and come up with a well-considered choice of products tailored to your project and needs.

Everything will be tested and approved to ensure your doors and frames meet the applicable regulations. This also applies to your locks, drop seals, door closers, door needles and hinges.

But it doesn’t stop there. We also guarantee complete unburdening, which we call our Total Service Concept. In other words, Theuma will take responsibility for all of the work preparation and coordination on the construction site, as well as installation. You will always be kept informed, and you will have one permanent contact person.
